Bleeting Sheep

Proof that at their core, people are the same everywhere...

Today I was sitting in the student lounge joined by several other young women who are students here. I was sitting at a computer in the cluster tying out my last entry regarding the keffiyeh and could easily hear their conversation just 1 row behind me. I am not particularly nosy but these girls had some pretty salacious gossip and spared no detial between giggling.

There is a popular exchange program where students from CMUq can visit CMUp for free and several of them had. The social reprieve of a semester or summer abroad must have been truly educational and one girl was explaining to the other three how to use the gossip wiki, Juicy Campus.

From behind Niqab they had no shyness about what they read aloud and you would think that for such a conservative culture they might have, although one wouldn't know if they blushed or not at hearing their own brashness. To their credit, there were no boys in the room, and I've come to understand how free the bond between women is without the presence of the opposite sex. So I guess if any of you are interested, there is a new chapter in Juicy Gossip from CMUq, although I don't know how shocking the matieral might be since these interactions seem to only transpire between women.
